Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines Finally Gets Digital Sequel!

Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is finally coming to console gaming! The teaser trailer announcement was launched on Friday by Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs.
Launching in Spring 2020, Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be available on Xbox, PC and PS4. The sequel is long overdue considering the original was released way back in 2004, however, I believe good games take time.

finally, this was a fun little game to play when i was a teenager
From what I recall… it wasn’t a good game… bad acting… lots of gore and slutty vampires with accents that made Harley Quinn sound classy.
Game needs more than that.
I’m not sure which game you were playing, but the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines was a great game with a rich plot. It was, unfortunately, clearly unfinished, with a few bugs, but that doesn’t make it a bad game.
I had it on PC and it was primitive 3D with weak plot and lots of bugs. Hated it and never completed it because of the aforementioned problems.
But that’s just me opinion and we each have our own taste in games and that was far from mine. But the RPG was not to my taste when I saw the rules on that… bit to political for my group of players.
Your first statement about harley quinn sounds like you didnt get past the first few missions that much
Probably… but if you’re buy a dvd and it looks like crap… you skip through it or eject the disk
I remember my little brother playing the first one in multiplayer, which was basically a load of vampire avatars standing around in a room just chatting. I don’t actually remember anything about the game itself!
Not really my cup of tea however that being said, i love all of Paradox’s strategy games so if they have a hand in the production of this game then it may be worth a second look.

I am so excited for this. BLoodlines was a fantastic game, and I have been waiting for one that captures that sort of experience, but with less janky graphics and gameplay to get in the way.
I still replay bloodlines to this day! I have big hopes for this one.
Bet it ends up being more like “Twilight” than a sequel to Bloodlines 🙁
Wonder if they add “Glitter” into the character creator 😀
I stand corrected after playing with the Tender app beta and finding out that it wasn’t just an AI that was set up to act like Skynet (from the info that was being pushed it really was going that way). This all did come out in the end with the release from Paradox interactive. Already there is some shade being thrown at the game.

I bet you haven’t even watched them. Arch is a very measured and good dude.
I’ve watched plenty of his stuff. He seems to confuse including horror with being offensive and not treating issues with proper respect. This being a topic I have covered many many times while podcasting about horror games. But then what do I know eh?
