Unmatched: Brains & Brawn! Spider-Man & She-Hulk Clash
July 31, 2023 by brennon
The Unmatched series expands, even more, this month with a new entry in the Marvel series by Restoration Games. Three new heroes will be battling it out on the tabletop soon with Brains And Brawn!
Unmatched: Brains And Brawn // Restoration Games
This set brings She-Hulk, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man to the Unmatched universe, offering up a new chance for you and your friends to battle it out and answer the age-old question, who would win in a fight? Much like with previous Unmatched games, each character comes with their own set of unique skills and abilities that you'll have to master if you want to come out on top.
Doctor Strange // Unmatched
For those who haven't played Unmatched before, this neat card game which has taken tabletops by storm allows you to play as iconic characters from fact and fiction. Using a deck of cards designed specifically for that character (or characters), you'll be able to dive into one-on-one or multiplayer battles to see who comes out the winner.
She-Hulk // Unmatched
Because the rules for Unmatched are the same no matter the set, this means that you can fight with various Marvel heroes as you see here or you could have them go up against various foes like Red Riding Hood, Beowulf, the Raptors from Jurassic Park or maybe King Arthur!
Spider-Man // Unmatched
The set comes with all of the cards, tokens and board that you need for you to dive into your games plus the miniatures (shown above). This new set features art by the legendary Ian O’Toole as well as Joshua "Sway" Swaby, Oliver Barrett and The Brave Union.
I can see a lot of folks picking this up, especially as it's got Spider-Man in it! It is also worth diving into the various options from the Unmatched Collection as everything is compatible and you might find some fun sets that you could throw into the mix.
Are you going to be picking up Brains And Brawn?

I like the Doc Strange figure.
All of the Marvel sets have been great so far, but they need to do more villains. So far the only full time villain they’ve done is Bullseye (although you could make arguments for Winter Soldier and Elektra being part-time villains), so we’re left with all the heroes fighting each other. Granted, that’s how every team-up story starts, but eventually the heroes need villains to fight.
