The Um’Cal Tribe Show Off Diversity & Progression In CMON’s HATE
January 4, 2018 by thisisazrael
The hype is really starting to build around CMON's next Kickstarter HATE. In their latest updates, CMON has shown own a range of different types of miniatures for the Um'Cal Tribe.
The Young Bloods are the future of the tribe, keeping them alive is imperative and clever opponents can try and pick them off on the battlefield.
Initially, Young Bloods will focus on ranged weapons to keep their distances but once they are in battle and the carnage is rampant they will have no choice but to grow up fast and learn to fight.
In HATE: The Board Game, you’ll need to rely on your Warriors during Clashes.
Warriors form the backbone of your tribe as their strength and skill can develop over time alongside adding bonuses through careful positioning on the battlefield.
In each tribe, though there is one warrior who has fought hardest, killed the most and survived. These are the Champion Warriors.
The world of HATE was not made for the weak and this is personified in the warriors who can down an opponent in a single blow and strike fear in enemies with a single glance.
The Champion Warriors thrive on damage, challenge and a lust for blood which drives them. It's really interesting to see some of the bones that will make up character progression and tribe make up in HATE: The Board Game.
I am still incredibly keen to see what the gameplay will be like but I'm very hopeful.
What do you think of the latest previews?

What they remind me of is the world of “Conan, the Barbarian”: Warriors on steroids brandishing giant weapons that can cut a horse in half. Even if the game is “not so good” it may be a good idea to get hold of one or the other miniature. They can be quite useful as champions in other games, where there is dire need of a human tank. Painting should be fun, too. As… Read more »
