In 1001 Odysseys, you are part of the bridge crew of the spaceship Odyssey, the first human FTL ship setting out to explore the galaxy. As part of the Odyssey crew, discover new places and new lifeforms, and boldly go where no man...wait, wrong franchise.

1001

1001 Odysseys is a narrative-driven game comprised of multiple cooperative episodes. In each episode, players work through several quests, leading these intrepid space explorers through several locations. To select the story, players decide on an action, a quest, and a location. These three decisions combined then correspond to a numbered page in the Adventure Book, and from there the quest begins!

Completed quests are recorded in the Passport (definitely not a Captain's Log), which also keeps track of what scenes the group has access to and any interesting events which have transpired during the exploration.

1001 Odysseys is a really interesting narrative-driven game which promises a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy comedic element. Interestingly, each episode played is standalone, meaning the same set of players are not required each time to participate.

1001 Odysseys was originally meant to be coming to Kickstarter in November, however, the designers have since pushed the launch back until January 3rd. Unfortunately, the Kickstarter will be limited to the USA for now due to the weight of the game, but we hope publisher Asmadi will announce a European release date soon. Until then, Live Long and Prosper.

If you could only choose one: Star Trek, Hitchhiker's, or Star Wars?
