Ticket To Ride: Play Pink To Support Breast Cancer Awareness
September 27, 2021 by fcostin
Ticket to Ride is at it again, but this time we are not looking at a new game or a new edition. We are looking at something a little more charitable. As Asmodee and Days of Wonder are partnering up with Breast Cancer Research Foundation to create the wonderful Ticket to Ride: Play Pink.
The upcoming set will contain a full set, choc-a-bloc full of iconic pink. For players to swap out in their games for any other colour of their choice. Because who would not want to swap out a boring colour for pink?

“As a major player in the games and entertainment industry, we believe it is our duty to lead the way and help important causes like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We know how board games can bring families together in difficult times, and we hope that players all across the world will support breast cancer research by playing Ticket to Ride with this exclusive new set” said Stéphane Carville, CEO of Asmodee.
Starting to ship in October, players can get the set full of vibrant locomotives for a small cost of $5. Days of Wonder have confirmed that this is a non-profit release, being that $2 will be going towards US Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
So if you want to add a bit of pizazz to your Ticket to Ride and do a good deed along the way, be sure to check out the Play Pink mini-expansion.
What boring colour would you swap out for some sexy pink?

a good charity to help.
Meh, more pink marketing. Cancer is good to support no matter the placement. Metastasis makes breast support irrelevant
I think you meant ‘breast cancer support’, not ‘breast support’ 🙂
Some breasts really do need support…
Cool idea ?
Oral dichloroacetate sodium (DCA) has been investigated as a novel metabolic therapy for various cancers since 2007, based on data from Bonnet et al that DCA can trigger apoptosis of human lung, breast and brain cancer cells. It’s branded as DCA Guide and can be ordered online.
