Through The Ages Gets New Leaders & Wonders Expansion

Czech Games Edition (CGE) announced this week that the awesome civilisation building game Through The Ages is going to be getting an expansion pack with new cards for both Leaders And Wonders.

The new expansion brings together new cards for across the different ages, focusing in on both men and women who have changed the course of history and shaped great nations in doing so. As well as that you'll find additional wonders which your civilisations can build and military cards for when fighting is called for.

If you've not played Through The Ages and you're a big fan of Civilization the video game then you're missing out. Through The Ages is pretty much the best representation of Civilization in board game form, even better I'd say than the actual Civilization games by Fantasy Flight.

This should shake up the tactics of the game a little bit and add a few more nuances into the gameplay. It will still take a while to play though so make sure you've got a few hours spare!

As a note, the expansion will be available digitally for the app on September 12th, 2019, and as a board game on October 24th, 2019.
