Team Up In Disney’s New Chronicles Of Light: Darkness Falls

Ravensburger has announced a new cooperative board game, Chronicles Of Light: Darkness Falls with a Disney twist coming later this year. See what you make of this one as it could be fun for getting the kids to the tabletop.
Chronicles Of Light - Darkness Falls (Disney Edition) // Ravensburger
In this two-to-four-player cooperative game, players will work together as famous Disney characters Moana, Violet, Maid Marian and Belle to overcome the shadow cast by infamous Disney villains. The game also boasts a diverse set of missions and a modular board set up meaning that you'll find yourself encountering different challenges each time you get to the tabletop.
There's not much more detail on the game beyond the fact that it features roleplaying, storytelling and cooperative board game elements. It has been designed for ages eight and up so it should be a game that the family can enjoy. What's interesting as well is that this is a game that has been completely designed and illustrated by women. The designer has been noted as Pam Walls but the artists have yet to be revealed.
Chronicles Of Light - Darkness Falls looks to be coming out in July and I think this could be a fun option for those looking to get kids involved in board games, especially with the fun Disney theme. Board Game Geek also pointed out that if the subtitle is "Disney Edition" then we could see Ravensburger using these core mechanics for lots of other themes.
Will you be keeping an eye on this?

This looks really interesting. Ravensburger have really been making a great range of family/movie based games over the last few years.
Now I AM the Little Mermaid!
