The Legends of Awesomeness are now keen to undergo their next Kung Fu adventure, as players can play as one of the Furious Five or the Dragon Warrior Po in the new board game from Modiphius Entertainment, Kung Fu Panda: The Board Game.

Players must work cooperatively to take down the sinister Tai Lung and his band of gruesome wolves. Providing a time limit for you to test your Kung Fu superiority, players will have to undergo missions to be completed in true Kung Fu Panda style and speed.

Using the dice, players will need to make their way to the next objective by punching, kicking and sashing through enemies, creating some nasty combos of awesomeness. Each character has special abilities to pass through the wreckage, such as a special healing ability from Po. Players' health score will be provided to them on their player card depending what character they have chosen for attack.

My favourite thing about the Kung Fu panda board game? The miniatures. Since I have been playing miniatures games, I have really felt the customisation pride when adding a painted miniature to the game. You seem to be more connected to it as prior effort has gone into the process.

As the game is designed for 1-5 players at 8+, if you are not so keen on using the timer to make the game easier for younger gamers to become comfortable with the game mechanics, that is possible too. And, of course, if you are like me and enjoy playing board games solo before attempting with others - the game allows you to take on all of Tai Lung's hoard as one single dragon warrior.

A perfect board game for families, Kung Fu Panda: The Board Game will now be available at your FLGS, along with a wide range of online stores.

Who is your favourite Kung Fu Panda hero? Mantis... because Seth Rogan.
