Resident Evil: The Board Game - Collection // Steamforged Games
Following on from the previous Resident Evil board games (Resident Evil 2 - 2019 and Resident Evil 3 - 2012), this new game takes you to the Spencer Mansion for that iconic first encounter with the shambling zombies of the Resident Evil series. Based on the 2002 remake, this game lets one-to-four players dive in and see if they can survive the horrors of the mansion!

You'll be able to take on the role of the dream team that is Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton as you deal with deadly enemies and try and solve all manner of puzzles. There are nineteen scenarios included in the set which can be linked together into a campaign or you can play each one as a standalone experience.
This game builds on the mechanics of the previous ones. You've got the aforementioned puzzles but also the chance to send NPCs off on missions to aid you. The game also unfolds as you play with new tiles representing different parts of the mansion. That means set-up is quick which is always helpful with these games.
Into The Darkness Expansion
As well as the core game, you can also pick up a couple of expansions for Resident Evil: The Board Game. The first of these is Into The Darkness.

The first of these expansions takes you up to the third floor of the Spencer Mansion whilst also delving deep into an underground cave system. You'll have to deal with rotating room tiles, traps and poison. You'll also find yourself having to take on new enemies including two huge new bosses. This gives you six new scenarios which can be bolted onto your campaign.
Face The Bleak Outpost Expansion
Next up, you can also check out The Bleak Outpost which provides you with even more challenges.

Things get even weirder with this expansion which introduces you to the Guard House and the Aqua Ring from Resident Evil. You'll need to deal with flooded tiles alongside the brutal Neptune and the monstrous Plant 42 which is looking to drag you into the depths. More bosses and another six scenarios give you even more gameplay for Resident Evil: The Board Game.
As well as the three sets that you see here, you can also get yourself a very thematic dice pack and then leap into the world of Resident Evil on the tabletop. Could you be tempted by this version of the game featuring the story from the first video game in the series?

217,76 Euro for the set? Naaaah. thanks but no thank you very much.
Is this a sequel to their Resident Evil 2 board game then?
A prequel really, but yes.
