Get Swallowed Up In So, You’ve Been Eaten By LudiCreations

LudiCreations are possibly the only game company I've seen to put out a game with a player count that goes from zero to two. Yes, So, You've Been Eaten is a zero player game...
In this game, you will either take on the role of a Miner or the Beast. The Miner earns points by collecting crystals and the Beast gets them by developing immune responses and using its bacteria to attack the Miner who has been swallowed by it.
If the Miner is able to collect eight different crystals then they win but the Beast gets a victory if they can digest the Miner using four different types of bacteria. There are some cases where the Miner might just slip right through the Beast's digestive system and if this happens then the player with the most points wins.
The player count works like so...
- A game for two players, with a Miner player against a Beast player
- A game for one player, with the Miner player against a sleeping Beast
- A game for one player, with the Beast player against a robot Miner
- A game for zero players, with a sleeping Beast against a robot Miner
I am very intrigued by just how on earth this is going to work and would love to try it out!
What do you think of this intriguing concept from LudiCreations?

But if there are no players to see it does a game play itself? 🙂
It would seem to me that you should be somewhat experienced with games for zero players and therefore well placed to answer that very question.
what?
If anyone is willing to waste money on a zero player game I have a game base on a cup of hot liquid to sell that I call ‘Brownian Motion’
I think it’s just a bit of fun…
That is what I took it as – a bit of a fun at the expense of all those people who buy games to sit on shelves or coffee tables and never play them…
…and over rolls Mr. Adams! How much?
If it is a traditional zero-player game then it is just a formula that everthing follows. Usually it is a single ‘thing’ and it is effected by what the formula states. Great fun to computer model when you are an undergraduate and have nothing better to do. I really hope that is right!
I like the art style…reminds me of a games called Astroneer.
p.s., I would give it a hurl.
…where are the maths geeks when you need them?
Does the name of the company give it away?
I like that they’ve got an “AI” system allowing for a solo game for both sides of the equation.
That the system can play itself is a neat bonus and more or less the result of this sort of thing.
