The Suicide Squad Drop Into Escape From Arkham Asylum
August 16, 2021 by brennon
Knight Games has announced that The Suicide Squad are going to make an appearance in their new board game, Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum.
Peacemaker // Knight Models
All of the characters look to be due to make an appearance in the game as "character skins". This means that they won't have rules for use in Escape From Arkham Asylum but should be a nice optional extra for the game and offer you a way to get the "feel" of introducing The Suicide Squad into your games.
So far we've seen previews for John Cena's Peacemaker and they have also shown off the character skin for King Shark too.

Whilst they won't have specific rules for use in Escape From Arkham Asylum, you could use them in your games of the Batman Miniatures Game and DC Multiverse Miniature Game. The Suicide Squad are most certainly a thing within their skirmish rules so you could easily drop these into the mix.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the game hitting Kickstarter later this year...

Are you going to be giving this a go? I do like the idea of playing as the villains! It would be neat to see some more gameplay nearer to the time to see how it all locks together.

No thank you.
Nice looking figures for a funny nuts film with a strong DeadpoolII feel to the film.
Those look really impressive. King Shark is a shark.
The idea of “skins” just reinforces the idea, for me (and based on my own experience in the toy manufacturing world) that licencing established IP/characters is a bit of a cash grab; these add nothing to the game, but add heaps to the “oooh shiny” that drives sales. Still, they’re great looking minis. I love the less-than-athletic-physique of King Shark (The Dad Years).
all miniatures are just “bling”, paper/wooden chits with name printed on it can work just fine.
Would like it better if Shark had a giant “Hand!” speech bubble.
