Street Fighter The Miniatures Game Kickstarter Heading To US Retail
November 29, 2021 by fcostin
If you are a fan of Street Fighter, the successful tabletop title is making its way over to retail in the US. Once anticipated to be a 'Kickstarter Exclusive' title will now be wider available to the public.
Street Fighter The Miniatures Game // Jasco Games
The triple threat (no I am not talking about singing, dancing and acting - although the topic considering would at least be humorous) Kickstarter containing miniatures, board game components and cards for play - as 2-6 players fight with their character and abilities in an all-out clash on the tabletop. Players will have to draw cards to attack and put the fate of the dice in their hands when defending.
Just like the classic title, players will battle head to head until they have knocked out their opponent or before the clock reaches zero. In a best out of three in playing cards for attack and defence, whoever wins the majority is crowned the winner.

However, if you are a fan of building and painting your miniatures - you may want to give them a miss. These minis already come pre-painted and pre-assembled and are also huge. They are 65mm scale which is about the same size as a Nintendo Amiibo.
The title will be making its way to US tabletops in 2022 from publisher Jasco Games, when however is a mystery! But let's hope that this title doesn't get stuck over in the states and can share in the board game love in the UK!
Would you play Street Fighter The Miniatures Game?

Any word on how tabletop players will get on just mashing buttons at random like I used to do on the console version?
Hopefully we in Europe also get chance to buy this one.
Ooh FINISH HIM.
MK the boardgame might not be as rewarding without the fatalities, babe-alities and friendships. Then again the carnage can be represented by bone/sinew/innards piles
Yes the killer ends made the game.
just get a big back of mince and throw it on the table.
Backed the KS, can confirm this game is awesome!
The minis are cool (some parts the paint job is a little iffy, but overall they look sweet) and the game is super easy to learn, characters all feel different, involves playing mind games with your opponent and of course some dice rolling!
Plays quick and can have up to six players IIRC.
Well worth it.
Would it perhaps be worthwhile to get multiple copies of minis in order to repaint for other players? “A New Challenger Appears!”
Personally I wonder about the sculpts for Dhalsim and Blanka.
I mean, probably not worth getting multiples unless you really want to have colour variants.
But I think you’d need multiple copies of core game for characters included therein, so that’s pricey.
You’ll need to make sure that you also have that characters deck to go with them as each character has their own deck of cards in the game.
