Steamforged Get Stylish With Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace
April 9, 2019 by brennon
Steamforged Games is going to be coming back to Kickstarter with a new project. Watch out for the board game version of Devil May Cry to arrive later in the spring titled The Bloody Palace.
The game will focus on iconic characters from the series like Dante, Nero, Trish and V and offer you a chance to embrace the fascinating style of the video game on the tabletop. It will be simple and easy to learn, focusing on brutal combat and slaying demons with all sorts of interesting weapons. You'll be trying to rack up the combos to achieve the best rank you can, all whilst looking as damn sexy as possible.
The game, from the preview at least, looks very nice indeed and I love the way they've taken the over-the-top aesthetic from the recent video game release and slapped it all over the game.
Whilst it's nice to see another big game coming out for video game fans who want to migrate to the tabletop, the team at Steamforged Games still have other things to finish. Horizon: Zero Dawn is still in the works, as is the delayed Critical Role Miniatures campaign and Godtear.
They have been delivering on projects like Dungeons & Doggies and Resident Evil 2: The Board Game in recent months but maybe they should take a little step back and finish off their existing projects before leaping into something new.
I do hope things run smoothly (and plans change of course) and there will no doubt be some very exciting Devil May Cry fans following this closely.
Oh, and you can win a copy too - just check out the link HERE for more details.

Never played the arcade version but looks good.
Lets hope the mini’s are better quality than the Resident Evil one’s.
No. S has too many unfulfilled projects, and RE had negative reviews of its components.
I do hope DMC goes well. I need to see S with a better track record before I back them.
