Kingdomino is one of my favourite games to play as a family. My family has been dipping into this world since its release in 2016, and have had hours upon hours of fun exploring the universe too. Whether it be Dual, The Court or Age of Giants - the simplicity of the game keeps my family's attention no matter how young (or old!) they might be.

Kingdomino Origins // Blue Orange Games

Coming this October, there will be a new release from Blue Orange Games that belongs within the same universe, as Kingdomino Origins brings caveman paintings ready for a release next month.

Kingdomino Origins plays very similarly to the original version of Kingdomino. However, there are some new aspects added to the game which comes in the form of components. These new components will provide additional actions and provide players a new way to rack up victory points.

Components // Kingdomino Origins

There are three different ways to play too, providing three different game modes that incorporate a new theme of fire as a new way to tally up a few extra points.

Points are initially earned by picking up resources and these start to rack up further when you have already monopolised the resources on the board. As players see a way for their caveman to evolve, bringing caveman out of his cave and out into his territory.

If you are a fan of Kingdomino and are looking for a new way to play with your family, Kingdomino: Origins is set to release on the 13th of October 2021.
