Stardew Valley Gets Itself A Tabletop Board Game

ConcernedApe has brought the world of Stardew Valley from the digital realm to the tabletop with a new board game version for you to play with friends.
Stardew Valley: The Board Game // ConcernedApe
The popular video game is getting a pretty darn faithful translation to the tabletop in a game of "farming and friendship" for one-to-four players. Whilst it seems like a quaint and cute experience, Stardew Valley is actually more complex than you might think and it takes a bit longer to play as a result. There is quite a lot to what you'll be doing and it comes in at around forty-five minutes per player once you dive into a session.
"Work together with your fellow farmers to save the Valley from the nefarious Joja Corporation! To do this, you'll need to farm, fish, friend and find all kinds of different resources to fulfil Grandpa's Goals and restore the Community Center. Collect all kinds of items, raise animals, and explore the Mine. Gain powerful upgrades and skills, and as the season's pass, do your best to protect the magic of Stardew Valley!"
If you're interested in learning more about the game then you can check out their Rulebook and have a read. It's only twenty-four pages so don't worry too much! I have to say that the presentation of the game is certainly up there with some of the best, especially as this sort of came out of the blue!

The game is currently only available in the US due to the time and effort it takes to put together the game. However, they are working to find ways to ship the game beyond the bounds of the US in the future so watch this space if you're hankering to give this a go. It should also be noted that this already sold out on their webstore so you'd have a bit of a wait regardless!
Are you a fan of the Stardew Valley games and fancy picking this up?
