A Squat Bounty Hunter Arrives In Necromunda’s Underhive
February 2, 2018 by brennon
Necromunda: Underhive is welcoming the addition of a new Bounty Hunter to its ranks. It should also make a fair few people happy as this chap is a Squat!
We've already seen them adding an Abhuman into the mix with the Beastman Bounty Hunter Gor Half-horn. But, they are now bringing in a burly looking Squat to hunt down the bad guys of the Underhive.
Clad in armour and carrying a big gun, this fellow seems like he might have seen a battle or two. Maybe he served in the Astra Militarum back in the day but has now turned to private endeavours?
Hopefully, we get to see more these interesting characters thrown into the mix for Necromunda and, maybe, if they prove popular enough we'll see them develop into a larger force.
Did you check out Games Workshop's funny video as well at the top of the page?

Made me smile 🙂
They tease us, still want one though
Woohoo 😀 .
We should be dead the clock was set at two minutes past midnight?
The figure looks great he would look good as a guard in an imperial command unit?
It’s not a doomsday clock.
Tell that to the Cadians.
Different clock.
Indeed. Lable says – sorry: said – otherwise.
…but who knows what horrible consequences await existence itself when this specific clock is tempered with?
Also, did you notice the arms’ positions changed between shots?
Anyway what does any of this mean? What if the arms are moved forward or backwards? This whole system is an eternal snakepit of uncertainty…!
😀
HAHAHA! I like new GW
They are a bunch of funsters really when not being oppressed by the former management
seeing this hit me right in the rogue traders.
they’d best get pouring resin, people are going to go nuts for this.
the forge world pieces for necromunda are injecting a bucket load of character to the game.
going to have to get me some raging heroes jail birds as a gang sprinkled with forge world bounty hunters.
as a side note the timing is perfect. STAR WARS Legion is about to drop and they give us squats.
Well, they gave us A squat. Although I suppose there’s nothing stopping you buying two
i knew badgering them about Squats 24/7 would work now I just have to keep it up until they make a second model …. at this rate it should take another 18 years … but I’m prepared to wait
Keep the faith my friend, keep the faith 😀 .
No worries, friend. They sneakily released them back into the miniatures world but just not in this gaming universe. With the upside-down-ing of a falbed gaming world of ancient times into a hole new setting around halfway 40K-ish poster soldiers they could easily integrate a ‘new’ somewhat rough and rogueish dwarf group with focus on tech and engeneering, bit excentric vehicles and even a space (sky) faring theme. The Kharadron models really are almost perfect for Squat models.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single Squat.
Step. I meant step.
Truly @somegeezer , you are numbered amongst the wise. 🙂
What is this nonsense? Bogus names and short bearded people in space? And why is this looking like a hard and funky/goofy take on 80ies SciFi looks combined with some rocker style?
Are they going totally silly now? Why would they be trying so hard to retcon their established world now? It is like the opposite of killing off an established and beloved part of a fictional universe in a blinded attempt to seem more grown up and serious and rigidly pretending that never even existed…
…sarcasm mode: off. ^^
Heh 😀
@beardragon14 Someone did understand and like it after all! I’ll give you your 2000th thumb up for this. 😀
** sob ** thank you … words fail me 🙂
My vintage Van Saar will be great hunting in the underhive with a Squat and a Beastman Bounty Hunter 😀 .
Good man
This is brilliant. Necromunda has great scope for new characters. The Rouge Trader Astronimicon Squats were painted combat-colours – it was only the plastic sets that made them Red and Yellow 🙂
There was a Squat mechanic character named Grimm in the Jaq Draco inquisitor novels and a Navigator.
That Jaq Draco trilogy was a real mind melter by the end.
the ending was desolate 🙁 early 40k could have gone to many weird places
The Rouge Trader? Travelling the Galaxy selling makeup to xenos.
Yes, I stand by my error. The Rouge Trader has an Imperial Mandate and a squad of Vanilla Marines 🙂
They are RUDDY nice blokes the Rouge traders … 😀
Why’d you think those space marines wear helmets ?
They can’t be seen until they’ve got more makeup.
Wow, love it! New GW win
So many LOL moments in that video.
Not the least of which is that it is blessed St Duncan of Rhodes that delivered us from the curse of that clock. Praise to his name …. (that aghast look on his face was a sham to put Nick off the scent)
That artwork has a real 90’s vibe to it as well.
Yep it does
Quality video
Surprised no one has mentioned the OTHER TWO CLOCKS yet
They have on the Facebook page. And then they got reset…
Can that which has been squatted be unsquatted?
Now we just need someone to sneak into their HQ and do something creative to their other clocks…
Meh plastic sisters will happen in the next two years …be patient …..It was 26 years since the last squats model (Epic not included nor the white dwarfs in power armour)…… You blighters don’t know you are alive
Best videos yet and the concept art is fantastic, now we need armoured egg dwarves on trikes
Sobs … they were so beautiful ……and I gave them away …. *curses self for a fool for 20000th time in the last 18 years
Pic up on battlebunjies of the mini doesn’t disappoint
…. okay that’s new I’ll have a look cheers mate ………. I loved my boys ……… *shakes fist at sky* CURSE YOU FEIGNED MATURITY
After having made a total pest of my self and posted all over this thread (still excited ! It is verging on tragic really ) It is my duty to inform you that sight unseen that I will buying at least 3 of the models on launch (one for each Necromunda gang so far) and more on a regular basis. It is just a heads up so if you find they are sold out you know who to blame.
I’m not going to blame you for that.
I’m secretly hoping that GW take that as a hint to turn squats into a useful faction for 40k …
(or at the very least a gang in Necromunda)
One day I knew this would come. Just didn’t think Id be alive for it.
You and me both ‘
Squat character for Necromunda? Well that’s sure to keep all Squat fans that don’t want to get Forge Fathers from Warpath happy for while.
if they bring squats back ill start playing 40k again
I am starting to sound like a broken record but … You and me both
I still have a whole unit of them from back in the day, and a rattling cook/sniper!
*cries* Show off … *starts punching self in head*
