Solve A Whitehall Mystery In New FFG Board Game
June 12, 2017 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games are inviting you back into the dark streets of London with Whitehall Mystery, a new addition to the Letters From Whitechapel game series. Will you be able to hunt down Saucy Jack and bring him to justice?
This new game is a standalone experience in the same vein as the existing Letters From Whitechapel game where you will be taking on the roles of Jack himself or one of the Investigators looking to hunt him down. Each of them were real people involved in the grisly murders.
Jack will be planning out his murders and ways to leave grisly clues behind for the Investigators. He must reach each of the scenes using hidden movement and tricks up his sleeve whilst the Investigators play a game of cat and mouse, trying to get to him before things go too far!
Those familiar with Letters From Whitechapel will be glad to know that they are also adding in additional optional rules which can make the game easier or harder for both sides.
This sounds like it could be a great next step for the Whitechapel series. Although, I would suggest that you check out Fury Of Dracula as well as, I would say, it's a better hidden movement game than this series.
Will you be taking a look at this?

Fury Of Dracula is out of print ever since GW and FFG broke up. Right now the chances are pretty slim GW will bring it back to print. If you find a copy it will be very expensive. IMHO, Letters From Whitechapel game series is the better set of games. Fury Of Dracula can have balance issues and you need to have a strong Dracula like you would a good GM in DnD.
FFG make great looking games. Sadly they often feel a bit clunky and mechanical. If they can team up the great art and production with more inspiring rules i’d be on board to play more of their games.
nice one.
