Soda Pop’s Way Of The Fighter Knocks Out Kickstarter
November 10, 2016 by brennon
Soda Pop Miniatures and Ninja Division have struck out on Kickstarter with Way Of The Fighter. It looks to bring all those familiar fighting game elements from the screen to the tabletop.
Benjamin Yamada's game pits two fighters against each other with constructed decks of moves, specials and more giving you a taste of the old school on the tabletop.
While you'll be moving your character around the battleground the real flavour of the game comes in the way the card decks for each fighter are built. There are pre-constructed versions (ready to play) out of the box but you can tweak and twist them to fit your play style.
If you want to learn more about gameplay then you can dive into the video above.
The Game Box
The game itself comes in two versions right now which give you access to different sets of five fighters. They are broken down into Super...
...and Turbo.
The game does sound quite fascinating and it will be fun seeing where the campaign goes.
Prefer Miniatures?
If you like the sound of the game but would prefer to play it with miniatures then you might be able to IF they manage to bust through their stretch goals.
Very nice indeed and they match up with the different boxed sets.
Already the gameplay has me a little hooked and of course beyond that we have stretch goals to look forward to!
Are you thinking about backing this one?

This looks far far too similar to the Indines series/Sirlin series
Those models look rather nice.
