Sneaky Skaven Warband Skulks Into Warhammer Underworlds
August 1, 2023 by brennon
Games Workshop are going to be adding a new warband into the mix for Warhammer Underworlds. The sneaky Skaven are at it again as Clans Pestilens skulk their way into Wyrdhollow as they look for more ingredients of the 13th Great Plague.

This new warband is Skabbik's Plaguepack and they introduce Clan Pestilens to Warhammer Underworlds. We've already seen the sneaky backstabbers of Clan Eshin but now we turn our attention to the frenzied priests that make up Skabbik's retinue.
I've always liked the twisted acolytes and monks of Clan Pestilens because they are always a lot of fun to paint. You get to paint dirty robes (a lot less fur!), rusty weapons and glowing clouds of noxious fumes that fill the air.
This set comes with Skabbik alongside a gaggle of four followers armed with rust and/or diseased weapons. You've also got the sneaky rat that they've brought along with them, eager to go out and hunt wyrdstone/warpstone to add to its collection. A great warband and a reminder of why I loved the Skaven when I first started in Warhammer!
New Rivals Deck
If you're looking to try out some different tactics in Warhammer Underworlds then you can now get your hands on a new Rivals Deck called Paths Of Prophecy.
Paths Of Prophecy Rivals Deck // Warhammer Underworlds
This complete deck allows you to become one with the cosmic omens that drift throughout the heart of Wyrdhollow. Follow auguries and mysteries in order to push for victory. The deck is very objective-based and works well with control warbands and those with a lot of miniatures. That means that it has landed just in time for the Skaven warband above.
Could you be tempted by a new Skaven warband or perhaps that new Rivals Deck?

Still my favorite oldworld army. Shame they wont be back for that.
Good looking new Skaven figures.
