Starfinder: Pirates Of Skydock has been out for a little while now but it's worth diving into the game and asking if you've had a chance to snap it up yet. As the first of the big Starfinder board games from Gale Force Nine, this one sees your crew trying to seize a new vessel for themselves!

In Pirates Of Skydock, you will be taking on the role of players who are working to steal a ship. To do so, you'll need to complete a variety of tasks and work together. Whilst you can (and probably should) work together to achieve your goal, at the end of the game, the character with the most glory will get to be captain! But, you will have to make sure that you manage your little bit of skullduggery and infighting alongside actually capturing the ship before it gets locked down.

Each character that you can choose from comes with their own skills and abilities to add some uniqueness to each game you sit down to play. Additionally, the ship will often be in different configurations meaning that you'll be scratching your head, trying to work out the best way to claim the ship for yourself!

I really like the ticking clock that you're running against in this game. It seems like it should keep people on their toes and perhaps making some silly decisions in the heat of the moment.
