Snap Up King Hsss For Archon’s Masters Of The Universe Range
January 27, 2021 by brennon
Archon Studio has released another preview miniature for their game, Masters Of The Universe: Fields Of Eternia - The Board Game. This here is the mighty King Hsss On Tyrantisaurus! I don't really know who this fellow is personally but I'm sure some retro fans are going to enjoy seeing him in miniature form!
King Hsss On Tyrantisaurus // Archon Studio
King Hsss is shown here riding into battle atop his Tyrantisaurus which has shoulder-mounted cannons and of course, razor-sharp teeth. Eternia's dinosaurs have begun to grow robotic limbs and weapons making them great mounts!
As with the other miniatures from this collection, they're ready to go in the game when it launches. You get a game card for use in Fields Of Eternia alongside the character.

As with He-Man, Skeletor and She-Ra, these miniatures are limited in number so if you want to snap one up then you'll want to pre-order sooner rather than later. Shipping for King Hsss begins on 8th February 2021 and is only available in Europe.

Thank god they went for an H in his name and not an A *badum* *tiss*
I don’t remember this guy but that does look really good.
He was supposed to be in the original MoTU, but was canceled at the last minute; they did bring him back for the 200X series Masters of the Universe vs. the Snakemen
That will be why I don’t remember him then.
He was never in the toons I’ve seen I wonder if he lead to the dino rider’s? looking good all the same.
I hope they also include a mini of his snake form!
Isn’t this the company formerly known as Prodos that essentially stole AvP backer money and then went “out of business”.
More or less yes, Archon started as secret subsidiary of Archon. I think they started a KS and tried not telling who they are, some people did some digging though and figured it out.
And for some time both companies existed together, the Prodos website is still online. But if you go to their shop you get a browser warning and they don’t sell stuff anymore.
So yes they are quite a bit shady, though it seems Archon did deliver their projects and I bought He-Man and Skeletorand I got them.
As someone who helped start the digging, I’ll just add that Archon / Prodos eventually gave credit to AvP backers to help settle the AvP KS. 20th Century Fox’s delays in approving sculpts etc. of the project hurt the project — and I don’t think anyone really knows how well Archon will play with Mattel. While I’m sure Jared is still behind the scenes, he no longer interacts with the community, and community relations seem to be much better. AFAIK, Archon’s games still aren’t very good (see Chronicle X on BGG), and Chronicle X ran into paper and cardboard component… Read more »
You are living in the past.
Time to move on.
Archon is a great company. Really top notch and has gone above and beyond with all of there latest kickstarters. Great products, great quality, and really good pricing.
My only gripe is this project is EU only.
Living in the distant past of 2019.
