New SAR Angel Sculpts Descend For Cyberpunk HINT
December 29, 2015 by brennon
Two of the SAR Angels; Laura Basetti and Janet Elroy have been sculpted up for Human Interface: Nakamura Tower. See what you think of this pair and then maybe delve into the Rulebook too so you can get your head around the game...
I think this pair are looking great and the models seem to have carried over all of the detail from the renders. I do like that each of the SAR Angels are all incredibly different looking with their own focuses but they are tied together by the imagery making them part of the same group.
As mentioned above there is also a new download for their Rulebook which still needs checking by various native speakers BUT is complete right now.
Give it a read...

The postures are too awkward. Surely there’s a happy medium between standing at attention and . . . whatever this is.
Sculpt 1 looks like she’s about to piss herself, and sculpt 2 looks like she’s shat her pants already. Seems like the sculptor should invest in an anatomy book, seriously two of the worst sculpts ive seen in the ‘3d sculpting’ era.
Bit harsh, first one has more of a sneaking peaking around corner look to her, the second seems to have fall back, covering fire pose, without terrain in the pics id say they are missing context so do look a bit forced, but as for worst not by a long margin in my opinion
yeah, lack of context makes them seem really really odd.
The first one definitely makes more sense when pictured against a corner.
Not sure what the heck the second one is doing though.
i think they are going for a pose similar to sarah connor in T2, when they get to asylum car park and the t-1000 is behind them, she basically turns and gives covering fire to ensure john gets to the car. Or pretty much any film where someone gets kidnapped/rescued by an extraction team
Exactly. They look fine. At least they’re not chesspiece space marines.
Looking good.
More good-looking minis. I hope the final results measure up.
As to postures, top one looks great! She’s creeping up on the corner of a building, cautiously. Spot on sculpt imo.
The second one looks like she’s firing under duress. Maybe caught off balance. Slightly awkward, but you know what? Sometimes people DO look awkward when they’re being shot at.
