Rome & Roll Rumbling Onto Kickstarter Soon From PSC Games

PSC Games are delving into the world of the roll n' write game with Rome & Roll which is coming to Kickstarter in October. It's very much in their Historical wheelhouse so maybe this will be a good way to bring a few folks over to the tabletop as board gamers!
The game is for one-to-four players and is a heavier take on the roll n' write genre where you will be drafting from a pool of dice to collect resources, construct towns, organise armies and create an empire worthy of the gods.
As well as the traditional building factor that you'll be used to from these kinds of games thre are also alternative avenues to victory with ways to win through trading, conquering the colonies and crafting the mightiest Roman road network. You will also be able to take on the role of seven unique character classes which each come with different tactics and ways to approach gameplay.
I love the idea of a slightly heavier roll n' write which follows the same mechanical path but plays around with the format to take it beyond a quick and easy pub game. As someone who really likes games of this design, I'll be keeping an eye on this one!
What do you think of the idea?

Sounds a great economic logistical power game to play.
