Rogue Swoops Into Fantasy Flight Games’ Marvel Champions
November 29, 2022 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games has been showing off another of the X-Men coming to Marvel Champions soon. Rogue is going to be swooping into this cooperative card game as a very versatile hero that is able to deal with all manner of foes that might crop up!
Rogue Hero Pack // Marvel Champions
Rogue's Hero Pack comes with a preconstructed Protection Deck which focuses on Rogue's ability to absorb the powers of others and use them to aid her allies. You get the bonus of the "touched" character's traits which can be very good for a bit of synergy if you're playing with friends.

She also comes with cards that protect her from harm like Bulletproof Belle and there are also options that allow her to heal herself and ready Rogue at the same time, meaning that she gets to act a little more often than usual.
Rogue can also rely on the help of some familiar friends like Bobby Drake as Iceman and Gambit. Whilst Gambit also has a Hero Pack, there is an ally version of him included within this set so that Rogue isn't without one of her most familiar friends!
As well as the cards for Rogue's Protection Deck, there is also a new Encounter Set that can be added to any game that you're setting up. Do you think you're going to be able to deal with the Mutant Hunting Reavers?
Reavers - Encounter Set // Marvel Champions
This set of criminals has quite the history with the X-Men and could make many of the standard encounters from Marvel Champions a little tougher. I like that we're getting more of these Encounter Sets with different Hero Packs, allowing you to throw something a little different into the mix when playing older scenarios. It also nicely ties things together theme-wise when they match up to a particular hero.
Rogue is coming to Marvel Champions pretty soon so keep an eye out for her and build up that awesome X-Men team with your friends!
Are you a big Marvel Champions fan?

Fabulous looking art on the game card’s for player’s.
There is something about the art on the hero card that makes me want to buy this set solely for that reason.
