River Horse Show Off Sir Didymus From Labyrinth Board Game
October 17, 2015 by brennon
River Horse have shown off some more of the work-in-progress sculpting going on behind the scenes for the Labyrinth Board Game. This time they show off the adorable Sir Didymus on Ambrosius!
Here you can see another of their three-up sculpts showing off the wonderfully charming dog atop...another dog. You can also see the model painted up below alongside a sneak peek at Sarah...
The miniatures are looking wonderful with plenty of character drawn from the original actors and puppets. Now, we just need to see how the actual game turns out. Hopefully the gameplay will live up to the miniatures.
What do you think?

I soooo hope the game will be good as I really like the miniatures.
So where is David Bowie in the inappropriately tight pants?
He’s behind you swerling his balls in his hands.
That’s glass balls just to clarify 😉
he said to the judge.
Very nice.
cool! looking fwd to seeing more from this
I am sure Sir Didymus is supposed to be a fox. mm
Anyhow, these mini’s are looking great. Even if the game itself wasnt up to scratch, I would still love to add these to my collection.
Hands up; who fancied Sarah when they watched the movie years ago? (All being legal of course)
Jennifer Connelly still looks good.
Love it.
I must say that I like the model. I figured he would be the hardest to do as the hair and feather are thin and wispy. Over all they got his appearance close without making him look fragile as a model.
“I am sure Sir Didymus is supposed to be a fox. mm ”
He was…
According to Muppet wiki he’s a fox-terrier:
“Sir Didymus is a fox-terrier in Labyrinth, as specified by the presskit, who believes he is a great and chivalrous knight. He has a canine steed named Ambrosius, and has the job of guarding the bridge that crosses over the Bog of Eternal Stench.”
I wonder if I can get just this miniature. Sir Didymus is my favorite of the Labyrinth characters.
Will this be a Kickstarter?
Awesome.
