Quite often, I will come across an upcoming Kickstarter and know absolutely nothing about it! Usually sent towards a "Notify me!" page of some sorts, to have to wait for more information on the crowdfunding campaign.

Mindclash Games have been doing quite the opposite with their upcoming Kickstarter, sharing a wealth of information on their upcoming title, Septima. Combining fantasy and mythology, placing players at the helm of their own coven.

Proving themselves as worthy as next in line to become the Septima - the High Witch, players have gathered from all corners of the globe at Noctenburg to leave their final mystical mark. Before a choice is made and the most skilled will sit in the chair of Septima.

Brothers and sister witches gather for their chance to shine on the hostile town, They will be required to hide their forms, brew potions, heal the folk, and generally hone their craft out of the gaze and alert of townspeople.

It is in the player's favour to build on the coven, to put in good to sway the impending witch trials. In a turn, players will simultaneously work with their action cards, which will require them to Move, Collect, Brew, Heal, Recruit, Plea, Chant, Rite and Remember. However too much mystical business can stop players in their tracks - alerting Witch Hunters. Providing a chance to cooperate as a line of witches fighting for the same cause.

Minclash Games have also released a large bank of stories on Board Game Geek to tell on each of the individual characters that will be featured in the board game. And by no means are these short sentences, there is a wealth of narrative, introducing many a witch across the different forms.

Witch trials, magic, and the chance for doing good! The game can be played with 1-4 players and can take anywhere up to 2 hours to get through. Mindclash Games will be headed over to Kickstarter on the 16th of June with Septima, and hopefully, we can get a glimpse into this title in action with more details on gameplay.
