Resin Firefly & Reaver Class Ships Arrive From Gale Force Nine
October 22, 2016 by brennon
Gale Force Nine have now offered up two new resin ships for their Firefly Board Game. Now you can pick up the Firefly Class Ship and the Reaver Ship to customise as you see fit.
Each of these ships are an upgrade over the plastic components available in the base game. They have a lot more detailed packed into them allowing you to customise them to fit your liking.
I think it would be great to create a range of themed Firefly ships to use in the base game and then really go to town on the Reaver Ship with some blood and red paint!
Do you like customising your game components?

So with this set, I might actually go and buy the resin kits (being the only upgrade I do not have… Read more »
@spacefrog, and these are not actual new ships, but they are resin replacements for the existing game pieces.
Also, GF9 has four different player ship models in the game now, with a total of six different special rules for ships (although some share the same mini sculpt). So there are quite a few options.

You have the option to play with four identical (ruleswise) ships to use five different ships that do not even come with the base game.
