Renegade Game Studios is going to be producing a new card game by designer duo Matt Riddle and Ben Pinchback. Subastral is a card game that will be releasing in June featuring art by Beth Sobel.

Subastral is for two-to-five players or "researchers" who are collecting notes on eight different biomes of Earth. You'll be learning about subtropical deserts, savannas, tropical rainforests, chaparral, temperate forests, taiga and arctic tundra.
Throughout the game, you'll be collecting these cards which are used to build a collection of research notes. Your aim is to make sure that your research is deeper and more diverse than your peers!
Games of Subastral last around thirty minutes and the rules for the game (found HERE) only come in at around sixteen pages. So, this seems like a nice light card game which you can dive in with your friends and play a couple of times during an evening.
