Blood Bowl Gets Its Referees From Forge World
December 9, 2016 by brennon
Forge World has now added their pair of Referees to many a Blood Bowl players collection. Both a Halfling and a Goblin have hit the pitch, both to be bribed in different ways.
The Halfling is trundling around the pitch with sandwich in tow whilst the Goblin is tossing the coin ready for kick-off whilst trying to hide a bag of loot!
Both of them are nice characterful pieces which would be great for adding a bit more narrative to the tabletop as you play your games. Bribing the Halfling with sandwiches is probably a lot cheaper than paying off the Goblin!
They will only be available until January 26th 2017 so you will have a small(ish) window in which to pick them up.
Which of the two do you prefer?

Are these old miniatures do you know?
As far as I know these are new. I don’t remember them being available previously
I have never seen them seem to be new. They are characterful if not the greatest sculpts. Price is less than attractive
The sculpting quality really isn’t up to Forge World’s current standards. They look like they could have been sculpted in the Rogue Trader era.
Like a lot of stuff from back then, they do have a lot of character.
These being limited edition kind of bothers me. I know referees (models) never really played a big part in Blood Bowl games but I hope nothing else will be limited edition.
Those two are rather neat but not worth they price.
Nice characterful sculpts, I’ll definitely pick them up.
I love these boys and I pre-ordered them as soon as I got the e-mail this morning.
and in continuing my moderately annoying observations about how reasonable the prices of forge world models are for Australians; at @25 A$ this pair is 1$ cheaper than the cheapest single Space Marine character (the Black Templar Champion) great value.
Good spot – I’m going to grab them.
