Ravensburger has now released a new The Princess Bride Board Game with a nice twist, this is the new Adventure Book Game! Prepare all of the relevant quotes and have a peek...
The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game // Ravensburger
The game can be played solo or with up to four players and follows the tale of The Princess Bride from scene to scene. Throughout the game, you'll be playing through six chapters where you work together to guide the different characters and complete various challenges.

The twist here is that instead of being played out over a normal board or with cards you are flicking through a gamebook which feels very in keeping with the movie.

As well as that charming looking gamebook you'll also have miniatures for seven of the characters including Westley, Buttercup, Inigo, Fezzik, Vizzini, Prince Humperdinck, and Count Rugen!
The game is for kids of ten and up so it's not going to be the most complicated adventure you've played out on the tabletop but I do think it looks like it could be a lot of fun for a fan of The Princess Bride.
Are you going to be taking a better look at this?

I see that Diago Montoya is part of this boardgame. His name is Diago Montoya. You killed his father now prepare to die.
It’s Inigo Montoya ?
Nostalgia mode engage! (Death to all future remakes).
Ravensburger?. Is it a jigsaw?
Inconceivable!
I think this game isn’t what you think it is
Any hints on where we’d get it from?
Not yet. I have seen it available through Target for the US but I’m sure it will bleed into the world over time.
Looks a great kid’s party/Xmas game to entertain the crowd.
R.O.U.S. not included? I’m out!
