Plan B Games have now announced Camel Up: Off-Season, and this is not an expansion to the original game Camel Up, this is a brand new spin-off putting those adorable camels at the helm of another title.

Camel Up: Off-Season // Plan B Games

Racing season is over, so these camels have been seeking alternative employment during the quieter seasons of the year. In the new game of Camel Up: Off-Season, you and up to four other players will have access to their caravan of four different camels. And what do camels do other than race? They carry. And these special camels can carry lots of goods. Whether it be fruits, carpets, vases or something else that is likely to smash or go everywhere when you drop it!

Camel Up: Off-Season // Plan B Games

Players will have access to markets, and these camels want to help the merchants and their businesses as they thrive. So players will need to access a range of different marketplaces to stack their caravans. But, as the camels can only carry so much - players must be cautious to not overload them and lose their items.

Each player will bid to see who should select goods from a market stall first. There are +1 more markets than there are players. These bidding rules are set by the highest and most valuable goods cards that are in the deck. This can range from fruits and dates in different amounts, carpets in different colours, and vases in an arrangement of different shapes. Whatever player wins the bid, will pay out for their goods from the market.

They then load up their camels! Each camel has a limit they cannot exceed and can only hold one type of good at a time which is when the fate of the card deck may not necessarily be on your side! As if you do exceed it, you can say goodbye to all of the precious goods being held on your camel.

These markets will be filled up with cards, and when that deck runs out after your camels being busy at work - whoever has the most money at the end of the game wins!

If you didn't play the original Camel Up - I would suggest giving it a go! It is a lot of fun, great for families, for kids 8+, betting to see which camel can get first around a pyramid.

Camel Up: Off-Season will be available to pre-order June 2021, with a release in Q3 this year.

Have you ever ridden a camel? It is like they do not belong. They look like an amalgamation of a futuristic creature, combined with a prehistoric creature! Which I suppose would put us in the present...

Reconsidered Judgement: Mind = Blown. Camels belong.
