The radioactive dust of the Last War has frozen the northern countries. In the ice desert, the few survivors live in an icy hell as the resources of the "old world" are now exhausted, and travel to the south is too long and dangerous. But a radio message is rekindling hope: The last icebreaker ship, the Aurora, is cruising along the coast, looking for survivors.

Last Aurora is a post-apocalyptic game where players compete to gather resources in a cold and desolate landscape. Manage your crew, recruit survivors, upgrade your vehicle, and fight against enemies in this grueling battle to reach the Aurora space shuttle and escape before the frozen tundra overcomes your crew!

Each game is played in six rounds, divided into five phases: Explore, Rest, Move, Fire, and Aurora. Only through reaching the Aurora on the last phase can players save survivors and gain reputation.

If you don't deliver the survivors, more dangerous travel will await you and the strength of your convoy down south, where the road is harsh and the rewards are greater!

Last Aurora attempts to embody the concept of post-apocalyptic racing movies such as Mad Max into a cohesively narrative game mechanic. The game is fully funded on Kickstarter, and is currently unlocking some interesting stretch upgrades. You can check out the campaign in full here.
