Print & Play Pack & More Ready From Monolith For Conan!
February 6, 2015 by brennon
Phew, just a few days left (the Kickstarter ends next Wednesday) and they've finally bought out the Print & Play pack for Conan so you can give the game a go. As well as all the neat stuff to download there is a mountain of different add-ons and stretch goals still being hit...
As I say, they just keep on coming. I particularly like the coming of Yogah from a very otherworldy place and Taurus who looks like a great burly brawler to have alongside Conan as he's fighting. The artwork for this game is always great looking and you can see some of the pieces in full below.
...and that's not all. As well as the artwork they've also been working hard on the sculpting and one of the newest previews was for the Black Ones that you saw at the top of this piece. These are looking like an eerie opponent for Conan and one that would slice and dice you from the shadows.
Not bad at all and everything is looking very swish for this project. The Print & Play pack is well worth downloading and if you can get it all printed off and put together then you will have quite the cool little pack to play around with before the game is released. Maybe they'll continue to release some of the scenarios in this form for backers as they get closer to the release as a way to tide you over!
Watch the interview with the game creator, Frederic Henry, above too!

Black Ones? Really? Besides of that sculpt surely looks nice.
Is that from the books?
Am unfamiliar with the Conanverse
The minis are looking really good though
They are from the books yes, the Pool of the Black Ones. Obsidian/ebony skinned creatures that dragged men into a pool of green liquid to turn them into strange statues.
They remind me of Vain from The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant in their skin colour and look rather than their actual African-based origin though.

I am enjoying seeing so many of the Conan characters and background being brought to life by this KS – I have read a lot of the stories and saw the Arnie movie waaaay back (I have also seen Red Sonja :))
Crom wants people printing like mad…
This KS has been superb from the word go. The world of Conan will open up before my friends at my club and me when I get my hands on all that good stuff, October seems a looonnnggg way away right now.
The numbers today are insane – we might just get to $2million by midnight GMT!
