Prepare for the Wiz-War!
August 12, 2011 by brennon
Originally a game made in 1983, Fantasy Flight Games have re-invented the classic game of wizardry rivalry. Check out Wiz-War!
A game for 2-4 players Wiz-War pits you against your fellow wizards where you must protect your own treasure while plotting to steal your opponents.
Built on a simple mechanic but with a mass of in-depth play this should prove to be one hell of a buy when it comes out. I have to say I might even put some of my other board game purchases on hold and get this instead!
Set for the end of 2011, it has my money already spent.
What about you guys?

Ah When I saw the title I thought it was about competitive schoolboys in the latrines but your description and the boxart thankfully have set my mind at ease Brennon.
Must say the figures aren’t at all shabby.
Any chance of a demo when it comes out please?
I thought this game was meant in the snow where you can try to spell your name. Now that would be a real wiz-war!
I could prolly manage to spell Chibi
Not sure about a magic cricle and all the glyphs though! lol
And if its propper cold, you cant use too long, frost bite is bad, frost bite to the private parts is realy bad.
Too right
You don’t want Jack Frost freezing the ink in yer pen nib.
