Think Portals as Cryptozoic Make A Board Game for Science!

The cake may be a lie, but the board game isn't, as Cryptozoic Entertainment have announced that they will be releasing a board game based upon the popular Portal video games!
Tentatively titled Portal: Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game, the board game has apparently been designed by the creators of Portal One and Two. This means we should be able to look forward to the superb puzzles and dry wit of this fantastic game series.
The board game should be containing many of the elements which have come to characterize the series, such a mad AIs, homicidal, yet strangely adorable turrets, the ever loyal companion cube and, of course, cake.
We can look forward to seeing this game released later this year, so grab hold of your portal gun and get ready to do some science!
How do you think a Portal board game would play?
I don’t know how it could be made “by the creators of Portal and Portal 2” since those were two mostly different design teams, and Kim Swift left Valve before Portal 2 happened (she is widely attributed as the creator of the game though some credit is surely due for Jeep Barnett, Dave Kircher and Garret Rickey who worked on the same senior project with Swift that earned them the job at Valve developing Portal). OMG OMG OMG, that’s going to rule *coughs* ahem, i hope.
Cryptozoic are pretty renowned in the boardgame world for being hit or miss so I’ll try and bottle any excitement for now…
