Let’s Play: Rambo – The Board Game
January 31, 2018 by deltagamegirl22
Everything Epic Games are currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Rambo: The Board Game and the guys in the US studio have managed to play a game!
This is a mission-based co-operative campaign game for one to four players that will have the main characters from the movies reliving those cinematic events you remember as well as taking on some new challenges.
Each of the heroes is represented in 32mm scale miniature form and at the Green Beret pledge level you will also get 30 enemy miniature models as well.
As of writing, the Kickstarter campaign has exceeded their pledge goal, but if you'd like to back it there is still time.
Will you go to war with Rambo?

“Are you saying that 200 men against your boy is a no win situation for us?

“If you send that many don’t forget one thing.”

“Oh yeah, what’s that?”
—
“A good supply of body bags.”
Sorry guys, the game looks visually dull and the game-play is like watching paint dry.
The game itself might not be your thing (or mine) but I liked the video. Ben and his “Leroy Jenkins aggressiveness as Col. Trautman, Gianna’s “loudest knife in the world” and Dawn with the “Sniper that shall not be named” in perpetual overwatch I found an entertaining watch / listen to. Having this in my headphones Got me through some hellacious spreadsheet crunching at work. 😀
I admire your positivity
Same for me
Very nice to see the gorgeous new US gaming table being used by “The Martial Trinity”. Praise ye all the guru of gaming tables, Sensei Julio. Living in the backwoods it´s nice to come across a game with a solo mode. The possible co-gamers sometimes hide even behind these backwoods. As for the unpronouncable name, I suppose it is Thai. Pronounce the “s” like “sh” and both the “u”s like a shout version of “ou” in “you”. However, it´s not of importance anyway, because Srivarunyu is just an alias to confuse “Charlie”. His real name is supposedly either Jörgensen, Ortega… Read more »
I tried watching it too, and even watched a different play though. but both seems slow, moving a square at a time, the table covered in some much stuff, and automatic damage is not for me…puzzled by cover, thought you used it to safe, not keep getting hurt since nobody used it. And the stances was a strange thing to see on a board game. But we all have views of course, hope there choices go`s well for the company, and not like the rambo video game, which i so wanted to be good…
“ The Best man lost and he doesn’t like it”
“I don’t think you understand. I didn’t come here to rescue him from you. I came to rescue you … from him.” 😀
great yiou had fun but i ts not my cup of tea looks like. it did not felt like you play rambo just generic commandos would do same. shame i had hopes for this game.
Looks like a cool game and totally brings me back to the ’80s. It might be not for everyone due to the theme and the fact it’s obviously not fully finished. I hope they switch out the card-standees for plastic/metal miniatures before release. U guys are entertaining as always. Thanks for the video.
That was a great Let’s Play, well done. Game looks great. 🙂
Serious..not working with this crew for promoting a game.. Its so a big difference when Loyd and the real Beast of War crew are doing this kind of Gameplay videos.. Its very sleep-inducing.. again sorry to say.. but with no imrovement with BOW exclusive content.. i will stop supporing with monthly payment..
My Mom musta watched *First Blood* 100 times at the second run theater. She loved *Sly* & it was a much needed respite from the hell my older sister was putting her & my Dad through in our high school days. She’d go in & watch it 2, even 3 times in a row. She was a regular so much so that, inside of 2 weeks, not only did the cashier start waving her through without paying but at the end off the run, the theater gave her the movie poster [which was a huge, Gigantic, ENORMOUS no-no at the… Read more »
