Let’s Play: Legends of Sleepy Hollow

We get our hands on a prototype copy of the new Legends of Sleepy Hollow board game which is due to launch on Kickstarter soon.
This campaign based co-operative game sees four residents of Tarrytown called upon to help uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of Ichabod Crane.
They will have to work together to reveal clues, battle the evil forces plaguing the town, and suppress their mounting fear as each step brings them closer to unveiling the next chapter in this grim tale.

I think the dice rolls on the spawns overcame all plans half way through 😛

the art direction is very cool and the renders you have shown are spot on.
the game it’s self looks like a lot of fun. atmospheric and characterful as well which makes all the difference. really wanted to see how the narrative progressed but panicked when I saw the spoiler warning.
I will most certainly be checking this one out.
Loved the ” Let’s Play ” 😀 . One thing though, NEVER CALL THE DICE, they will, without fail, do exactly the opposite of what you want them to show, as was evidenced during the game.
@kantor72 man this is actually one (of I’m sure many) of my traits I do in gaming and it always goes against me! Was actually the bane of my life in Netrunner, calling the worst potential, out of dozens of possible outcomes, and it happening instantly 😛 Az
I feel your pain sir. Playing anything, be it board game, table-top or cards, I learnt the hard way to stop doing it 🙁 . I was actually talking to the tv every time a call out happened ( probably shouldn’t admit that really, but oh well ).
Is there a date for the KS kick-off ? I couldn’t find it on the site, probably glaringly obvious and I skipped right by it.

🙁 . It is ? Bugger. I’m all tied up for Mythic’s JoA, this’ll have to go on my retail list for the future.
I did like the look of this, so checked out the KS when it went live and I was almost sold… until I saw $39 shipping to UK on a $69 game… that’s a lot!
Same for me, I was interested until I saw shipping so thats me out I’m afraid .Im already doing joan of arc and funds needed for that ,plus im doing the hobby holder too.Shame as i would have liked this.
It would make more sense to charge US and Canada for shipping and reduce it for everyone else. Encourage more international sales.
Nice game, looked pretty tough on Legends mode!
