New Free Zombicide 2nd Edition Solo Adventure Now Available
August 17, 2021 by fcostin
New week, new Zombicide scenario, and where is CMON taking us this week? Are we headed over to Green Horde? Over to a bit of fantasy in Black Plague? This week, players are to head back into their fresh box of 2nd Edition, where an origin story has arisen. Players have previously had the opportunity to see the roots of Amy and Doug - but this time, it's Ned's turn and he's on the hunt for some missing keys - and we are off for a solo adventure.
Ned // Zombicide 2nd Edition
Ned is off for his own mission this week, which means we Zombicide 2nd Edition players do not need to wrangle a group together to get through another scenario. This scenario only requires one survivor, Ned to be exact. So if you are keen to add a touch of strategy and want to pull out your 2nd Edition box. There is a brand new and free 45-minute mission waiting to be played.
Ned is in serious need to get inside his bunker, during a Zombie apocalypse - he seems to have misplaced his keys! However, to his best luck, a mystery human has left him a note and the location to a "large set of keys", and players must put their feet in the shoes of Ned to get the doors open to the bunker once more.
Players will need to meet a series of objectives and play by a special set of rules which will allow the scenario to be played through. There are also some game requirements such as tiles needed and a run-through of the setup required.
I am certainly going to give this scenario a go, considering that it only requires one survivor, it will be a fantastic solo challenge regardless if I fail the first few times and Ned does not end up where he should be, at medium difficulty - I will strive to survive!
I would be the worst in a zombie apocalypse, I am losing things and falling over nothing on the best of days, let alone around some flesh-eating zombies!
