Plan Your Perfect Holiday Globetrotting On Kickstarter
June 17, 2022 by fcostin
It's always wonderful to see unique titles up on Kickstarter that take players away from the 2D confinements of the board. There has been a new board game up on the crowdfunding platform encouraging players to muster up their dream holiday with Globetrotting.
Taking to a 3D globe, 1-4 players will be plotting out in a drywipe pen, hopping across to new locations tracking their trips and routes to plan ahead.
Globetrotting Game Trailer // Road To Infamy Games
Globetrotting is for those who consider themselves keen and inspired to travel the wide world we live in. Tracking passports and heading off to different locations across the world is central to a game of Globetrotting. Visiting the likes of Santorini, Jaipur and Puerto Rico to tick off must-see experiences on bucket lists and to see new sights with travel companions.
Globetrotting // Road to Infamy
Heading off to different locations, players will hope to score the most points in-game through meeting goals and ticking off goals and aspirations on their bucket list.
Canvas // Road To Infamy
You may be familiar with Canvas from Road to Infamy Games, a game of art style and crafting as players use transparent card sleeves to create nothing short of a masterpiece. Adding to their portfolio, Jeff and Andrew, game designers have returned to the Crowd Funding platform to take players away from the basic structure of tabletop play. Bringing more unique gameplay to the table with the use of 3D globes for each player.
There are some stretch goals unlocking as we speak, bringing a bunch of quality of life and fun upgrades to the title. However, if you were keen on getting your hands on Canvas too, alongside other Road to Infamy titles - you can pick them up as an add-on.

There are two different pledges that you can tap into. Whether you want to grab yourself the regular edition heading to retail or swag yourself a limited copy only available during the campaign, which comes with some extras.
There are 25 days left on the clock, ending on July 13th. So if you are feeling the pull to get some travelling done, and are looking for inspiration to make your mark and plot across the globe - be sure to check out Globetrotting, for a release in April 2023.
Not quite sure whether you would be interested in Globetrotting if you are a flat earther though... Might have to print off your own flat circle version map and call it Platetrotting!
