Petersen Games Tease Dinosaur 1944; WWII + Prehistoric Monsters!
April 15, 2020 by brennon
Petersen Games, famous for the likes of Cthulhu Wars, Glorantha and the like are going down another quirky route with their new board game that was teased this week. Fancy getting stuck into a clash between dinosaurs and World War II US Marines?
In Dinosaur 1944 you'll be doing just that. This is going to be a cooperative game where you take on the role of US troops in World War II who have found themselves in the depths of verdant jungle and now must hold off waves of deadly dinosaurs who are just waiting to chomp on you!
From the looks of it, this is going to be an exceptionally cheesy looking experience...and that's awesome! Any game which features a cover image of a woman socking a dinosaur in the chops has got to be well worth a second or even third look.
There is not much more to talk about currently concerning the game but I'm sure it's going to feature some rather awesome models for both the marines and dinosaurs.
Does this tickle your fancy?

Do I fancy a clash between Dinosaurs and World War 2 Marines? Yes Yes I do, sign me up take my money and keep us (me) up to date with any updates – sounds like great fun ?
I’m reminded of something I would have cooked up in the sandbox when I was a kid… SIGN ME UP!
If you get chance take a peek at Maledrakhs Black Tooth in his project page below. Not only is it a great paint job the post sets out how it’s achieved and with Dinosaur 1944 I think the technique is going to come in handy
