Designer Chris Handy from Perplext has brought his roll-write-and-erase game to Kickstarter! In Roland Wright (see-what-he-did-there?), you are trying to design the perfect game through private objectives and competitive public goals.

Players draw cards which provide objectives, and then roll 'bit' dice which display a colour. Players fill that colour in on their sheet to fulfil their goals, but may 'use' a coloured bit by erasing it to perform actions, such as changing colour or drawing new cards.

While I like the concept of this game, I am disappointed at the inaccessibility for colour-blindness. It would have been nice to see symbols or shapes used, rather than colours, as I don't see how anyone who is colour-blind could possibly play this game otherwise.

However, if you're unperturbed by such things, this is actually a really nice mechanic for a roll-and-write game, and the diversity of the cards and awards mean that it will have good replayability. You can check out the Kickstarter here.

Is accessibility important to you when purchasing a game?
