Pandasaurus Games Tease Machi Koro Legacy Release

We've known for some time that there has been a Machi Koro Legacy game in the works but Panadasaurus Games have finally started to release tentative details of this new addition to the series!
For those who haven't yet had the pleasure of playing, Machi Koro is a city development engine-building card game where players must purchase buildings to generate income and resources and increase their development potential, earning victory points along the way.
Pandasauraus Games have been tight-lipped about this standalone game up until now. From designer Rob Daviau (Pandemic Legacy, Risk Legacy), Machi Koro Legacy will feature all-new artwork by original game artist Nobura Hotta, and feature similar mechanics to the original. In a statement, Pandasaurus Games have given a vague overview of the gameplay:
You unlock the [Censored] and you start earning a little extra income by [Censored], and then you start to explore the [censored] and you have to make a choice between [censored] and [censored]. Even if you aren’t in contention to win a given game you still have [censored] to set up exciting [censored] for the next one. And then the [Entire paragraph deleted].
Well, I feel informed. Machi Koro Legacy will be released in Spring 2019, and you can check out the official press release here.
