Panda Cult Is Busting Stretch Goals For Wander & Barnacle Bay
September 11, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
What could possibly be better than seeing Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay on your tabletop? How about more awesome characters for the game?!
Panda Cult Games is busting through stretch goals left and right on Kickstarter, which translates into even more wonderful characters for their animal adventure, dungeon crawler.
At this point, there have been six stretch goals unlocked, featuring four additional Heroes and two additional Mini Bosses. I can't decide who I like more!
For the good guys, we now have: Liz, Mary Fixit, Cola and King Ross. Two of these characters are extra special. Cola is a crossover mini with Soda Pop Miniatures, bringing the iconic character over into Barnacle Bay.
The Second special character is the very regal, King Ross. Not only does he look fantastic, but he's a Kickstarter Exclusive. So if you want this kind of royalty in your adventuring party, this is the only way you'll be able to add him.
I mentioned new Mini Bosses too, so there's two new baddies joining the ranks as well: Krex and Chauk. They have done such an amazing job breathing life into these characters. I can't wait to get a feel for how they play out on the tabletop.
Next stretch goal up features the very lovely, Bebo. Any bets on how long it takes to see her unlocked?
What do you think of these new faces on the way into The Cult of Barnacle Bay?

I really like the look of this, however the base game is very low on different enemy types.
It didn’t seem so bad to me. A little low, but a lot of base games are low on that side (I mean, they’ve got like five or six enemy types now).
Plus, one of them is a Bear Shark
Shadows of Brimstone got into the crazy place from stretch goals and add ons.
I think maybe you are right 🙂
I have been riding the CMON kickstarter train and they are ridiculously over populated with minis. I am hoping Wander gets enough funding to warrant a small addon expansion or two to give just a little more diversity.
And yes, the Bear Shark is a huge draw card! 😀
Anyone know what the minis are made from? I can’t find anything on the KS page that says?
Preassembled plastics 😀
Thanks! 🙂
