Outrun The Undead Venetian Horde In Carnival Zombie
March 22, 2019 by cassn
Board game publisher Albe Pavo have returned with a Kickstarter to launch the second edition of their highly successful co-op survival game Carnival Zombie! In Carnival Zombie, players co-operatively control a group of characters who are attempting to escape the sinking city of Venice, which has become infested with zombies.
Working together, players must use the daylight to search for items and survivors, move to new locations and heal, while at the night battle against the restless horde of the undead, desperately trying to find one of the escape routes which will lead their party to freedom!
Carnival Zombie has been massively popular since it's original release back in 2013, and this second edition promises 3 difficulty levels, 7 characters, 2 campaigns with 7 finales, 6 scenarios and a total of 12 bosses - approximately 250 hours of overall gameplay!
There's also an option to pledge for the Deluxe edition which includes Mediolanum where players must survive Milan fashion week (I would imagine a hungry fashion model is already more savage than any zombie).
So if you think you and your friends have what it takes to outrun an Italian undead horde, head on over to the Kickstarter for more information!

Very beautiful game!
the figures are looking really good.
Hm, I still need to beat the hardest difficulty level in 1st ed.
Was that because of the time commitment? Rahdo runs through what’s new, including new, shorter scenario options.

No, mostly due to the difficulty itself, we got a few bad draws during those times when we played hard mode. I actually like long games.
An interesting prospect, just watched Rahdo’s original playthroughs and his rundown of the changes in this edition.
