Osprey Working With Dayglo & Cornwell On Upcoming Judge Dredd Game
September 27, 2018 by brennon
Osprey Games are going to be working with two famous 2000 AD artists on their upcoming Judge Dredd game The Cursed Earth.
Both Rufus Dayglo and Dan Cornwell are going to be working on some specially created art pieces for the game which takes Judge Dredd into an all-out Sci-Fi Western adventure.
The game takes elements of Sylvester's The Lost Expedition and adds it into this wild and crazy world.
"Players must lead a team of Judges against dinosaurs, mutants, and the Cursed Earth itself to hunt down a dangerous fugitive, before a gang of criminals can get their hands on him. As they scour the wastelands, the team will encounter a host of threats that will push their resources and abilities to their limits."
It sounds very cool and the artwork is certainly up to scratch, creating and evocative world to play in. Whilst Cornwell is working on some of the card art, Dayglo also produced the cover art.
Are you looking forward to more from the world of Judge Dredd?

Looking forward to this – 2000ad nutter that I am. Anyone know how the game works/plays/anything?
The new Judge Dredd RPG is on KS now https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/enworld/judge-dredd-and-the-worlds-of-2000-ad-roleplaying#
The game that Warlord was the distributor for, published by Mongoose I believe, was pretty good.
Strontium Dog seems to be better so I’d rather see more Judge Dredd using those rules than see yet another Dredd game.
Yep. The Mongoose Judge Dredd Miniatures Game was great fun. Strontium Dog is great and the custom dice have Justice Department shields on them, so I’m sure they’ll release a Dredd box at some point, probably to coincide with the TV series.
I just checked the Lost Expedition.

Yep, this is a re-theme of an existing solo board game.
Hoping this one is going to be more board game as I really look forward to Warlord getting around to Dredd once they have Strontium Dog well established. That said, I’m sure I’ll be all in on this one as well.
Yay Dredd.
One to keep an eye on, hope it’s good. The name Sylvester has not all ways been a happy one for the franchise
