As a tea addict of all different concoctions and flavours, I was delighted to see the brand new Kickstarter Prosperitea: A Game of Artisanal Tea Blending by Mentha Designs.

I am excited to see what is coming up for this new card game, and I am here to spill the tea on what you can expect from this easy to pick up Kickstarter - whilst sharing an abundance of embarrassing tea-related puns along the way.

When I first saw this, my brain immediately to the ideals of another perfect game for a Sunday afternoon in my fluffy socks, alike Wingspan. Prosperitea doesn't take oolong to play and set up, and incorporates 3-6 players and the potential to be done in under an hour, so there is no need to invest in putting hours of your day aside to get a quick run though in.

Players will be in charge of a small artisanal tea shop in a quaint little neighbourhood. You will organically create many concoctions of tea, combining cards and crafting orders of tea, earning a profit to be the best of the very best in tea-making.

Ironically the Kickstarter for this game is only available in the US and Canada, so us tea-drinking Brits will need to wait for this to hit retail before we can become full-time barista. But if you wanted to give this a go before completely committing to the Kickstarter, it is available for you to dabble for free on Tabletopia.

Will you be giving this title a go?
