OnTableTop Visiting The Battlefront UK Open Day This Weekend!

John, Justin and Colin are going to be going to the Battlefront UK Open Day this weekend held at Cleve Lodge, Long Eaton in Derbyshire.
If you're interested in coming along then here are some essential details...
- General Admission 09:00 – 18:00
- Campaign Admission 08:45 – 19:00
- General and Campaign Entry cost £10.00 (200 Max)
Tickets for the event can still be snapped up HERE. Those who attend will also get themselves the special Doctor Who Miniature which can also be shown hanging out on a Chieftain Tank as you'll see above.
You have some very awesome things to check out at the event beyond just snapping up a free miniature as the team from Battlefront are going to be there running all manner of special activities.
- Seminars - If you have questions then Peter, John-Paul, Phil or Wayne and the other Battlefront staff will be able to give you the insight into what's coming in the future
- Demonstration Games - You will be able to play games like the new version of 'Nam, Flames Of War, Team Yankee and Star Trek as well as board games like Dr Who, Tyrants of the Underdark, Firefly and Firefly Adventures: Brigands and Browncoats
- Participation Games - Some big participation games are also going to be in action including a big game of TANKS as well as Wittmann’s Wild Ride
- Campaigns - Some big campaign games will also be getting played for Flames Of War and Team Yankee PLUS a big Tyrants Of The Underdark game
- Painting Competition - You will be able to check out the best of the best with prizes given out for great painting in Flames Of War and Team Yankee as well as Dungeons & Dragons (Gale Force Nine Range) and even one for board game components too!
There's plenty to get stuck into, AND you can see us there too which is just the best thing ever right?

Looks really interesting, but just to show how bad the transport links are in the county it’s most likely going to take me two and a half hours just to get there from the north (better) end of Derbyshire…
I WISH that our commute would be as short as 2.5 hours. ><
