Ninja Division & Soda Pop Offer An Intro To Legends
September 30, 2015 by stvitusdancern
As we prepare for another potentially amazing Kickstarter from Ninja Division and Soda Pop Miniatures for their incredibly fun game Super Dungeon Explore. They give us teasers to what is in store for us.
The new Kickstarter is called Super Dungeon Explore: Legends and this is a combination of a campaign system and a RPG. With this campaign you can take your heroes on adventures and then in between quests your hero can gain experience and level up to gain new skills and attributes.
With this new expansion you will need either Super Dungeon Explore: Forgotten King or the new 2nd edition of Super Dungeon Explore that will be available in this Kickstarter.
Both modes, Classic and Arcade, gives you an unique way to play and continue on a path of adventure for your hero. In Classic you get more of the traditional RPG style through more of a narrative play, while in Arcade mode you get premade adventures through either the Consul's Grimoire and unlocked digital campaigns.
With this expansion you get three new books, Hero Handbook (think of it as your player's handbook), Consul's Grimoire (DM Guide), and the Explorer's Guide (Fluff) to give you that rich background to help set the feeling of your groups next adventure.
This is all very exciting news and as we get closer to the start of the Kickstarter we are promised more juicy details.
Are you a Super Dungeon Explore hero?

New to SDE but it looks cool, I’ll probably back it.
That warrior guy looks like chibi Gilgamesh from Fate franchise.
yeah, there are often a few minis that are little “tributes” to other franchises 😉
it’s part of the fun when there are minis like that 🙂
If you meet them at a con, they’ll never admit to their inspirations. I had a conversation with Deke once where he claimed he’d never heard of Castlevania.
Oh, and I totally see the chibi Gilgamesh thing:
