Delicious Games has been showing off a new expansion for their big game Underwater Cities. New Discoveries offers up new options for players who are delving deep into the ocean to construct their new settlements.

This new expansion adds on a couple of additional modules which can be used to tweak gameplay of Underwater Cities. There will be new cards for each of the eras for one as well as optional personal assistant cards and tweaked starting resources which help to add to the replayability.

Additionally, you'll be able to add in new Green Metropolises plus a surprise which they haven't talked about yet. Underwater Cities is one of those games which seems like it is an immense undertaking when you first see it but once you've got your head around the iconography and learned the basics it actually plays very quickly indeed.

Having more options like this help to make the game even more replayable and with its modular nature also allows you to switch in different elements depending on your group and what they like.
