New BGG Board Game Artist Series Prints Available To Pre-Order
July 26, 2022 by brennon
BoardGameGeek has now opened up pre-orders for their newest Artist Series prints. These are amazing pieces of art for board games that take well-loved games and turn them into posters by a series of guest artists.
Everdell // Vincent Dutrait
Pre-orders for this year are open from 1st July through to 19th August and are open to those in the US. If you're outside of the US, like us, then you will be able to buy them outright once production completes in October.
As you might have guessed, I really like the Everdell piece by Vincent Dutrait but I have to also doff the cap to the awesome Paleo piece by Jacqui Davis.
Paleo // Jacqui Davis
I recently played Paleo and it is a really fun cooperative challenge for you and your friends to dive into. I always think that these posters would be perfect for those who are running clubs and board game cafes as they would be brilliant when put up on the wall.
The Andrew Bosely Pandemic poster is also really nice. I like that it approaches things from a more hopeful angle than you'd expect.
Pandemic // Andrew Bosley
It has an interestingly classic "holiday" poster feel to it which is quite funny as well. Go on holiday but be aware of the deadly plague sweeping across the planet. Last but not least, we have the Food Chain Magnate piece.
Kwanchai Moriya has done a nice job on this one and it shows off the distinctly chaotic way that you have to sometimes approach the game!

It looks as brain-busting as the board game itself and features lots of nods to the jobs, foodstuffs and more that you can use in-game. It's not my favourite of the four just due to the game in question but it's still very nice.
I think the best is Everdell but it would be neat to hear what others think. You can also pick up the posters from previous years over on their webstore HERE.
Are you going to be snapping these up for your gaming space?
